Mandiant U.S.A. Cyber Security virus is a serious ransomware program that was prepared by hackers with the intention of stealing funds from users, primarily within the area of the United States of America. Nevertheless, it has nothing to do with Mandiant U.S.A. Cyber Security, the legitimate law-enforcement organization of the US. It is not associated with FBI. Department of Defense or U.S.A. Cyber Crime Center either. This is a scam developed by the pack of cyber frauds! It gets into PCs with a really scary warning – FBI. Attention! Your browser has been blocked up for safety reasons listed below. Obviously, this is a fake alert not related to FBI at all. This guide will help you unblock your computer and remove the infection.

Scam from policesitewatch.org website

Mandiant U.S.A. Cyber Security virus locks browsers like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari in Mac OS, and many others as well. This scam is referred to as Mandiant U.S.A. Cyber Security ransomware because it presents itself as a supposed warning from Mandiant U.S.A. Cyber Security and FBI’s Department of Defense (a.k.a. U.S.A. Cyber Crime Center). The message tells that the user was found guilty of watching lots of illegal information over the Internet and spreading it around. This is what it says in particular once the scam attacks your browser:

Mandiant U.S.A. Cyber Security
FBI. Department of Defense
U.S.A. Cyber Crime Center
FBI. Attention! Your browser has been blocked up for safety reasons listed below.
All activities of this computer have been recorded.
All your files are encrypted.
You are accused of viewing/storage and/or dissemination of banned pornography (child pornography/zoophilia/rape etc). You have violated World Declaration on non-proliferation of child pornography. You are accused of committing the crime envisaged by Article 161 of United States of America criminal law.

If you decide to shut down your browser another alert will come up, saying this:

policesitewatch.org (or some other malicious website)
Are you sure you want to leave this page?
Your browser has been blocked up for safety reasons.
All PC data will be detained.
All your files are encrypted.

The malware asks for the ransom to be paid in order to unlock the computer. Otherwise, the virus tells, the information about user’s illegal activity will be reported to the police. For this reason sometimes this Mandiant U.S.A. Cyber Security scam is also sometimes referred to as FBI virus. However, Mandiant U.S.A. Cyber Security has nothing to do with it.

Mandiant U.S.A. Cyber Security ransomware instructs users to pay the ransom forfeit in the amount of USD 300 by means of indicating GreenDot MoneyPak voucher code. This is a typical way how Internet frauds intend to steal money from innocent users. Thus, indicating such MoneyPak voucher code is a serious mistake and total waste of funds. There is even no guarantee that by doing so the computer would turn unlocked. Thorough malware removal is what should be implemented in such cases. The complete virus removal instructions are available in the guidelines below. Apart of scanning of your PC with our recommended security software you will also need to reset the settings of your browser with this program as well.
